Setting Up Speed Test

The following steps should

be implemented on the
Client’s Ookla Speed Test
site in order to enable
speed-testing as part of the
TechSee Live dashboard.

You will be asked to

provide TechSee with 2
pieces of information.

 Ookla Account Login

Go to https://account.speedtestcustom.com/dashboard and login to your account

Select “Modify Configuration”

 Embedding

Select the Embed tab

Add the TechSee domain name used by your company as a new Embedded Test URL.

This may be one of the following (consult with your TechSee contact person):
• app.techsee.me
• app1.techsee.me
• sub.techsee.me (where sub is your TechSee allocated subdomain)

Please provide TechSee with a screenshot of the Embedded Tet URLs screen section.

Configure The SpeedTest account to use HTTPS only:

• Go to the ‘Test’ tab - https://account.speedtestcustom.com/configuration/test
• Check the ‘Enable HTTPS’ checkbox

 Saving and Publishing

Save and publish the changes

Provide TechSee the Embed Code text (if it does not contain https then please
ensure step #5 has been carried out successfully)

 Determining Your Account Type

Click on the user avatar icon at the top right corner

If the menu shows ‘Subscriptions’ item - then you’re using a If the menu shows ‘Upgrade Plan’ item - then you’re using a
premium account type basic account type

Premium account will enable auto-display of the Speed Test Basic account will enable only the mobile user to see the
results on the TechSee Live Dashboard for the agent Speed Test results, and they’ll have to read them out to the
agent.
