Anyone can bleed

Not too long ago, I lived and studied in the US and I met different people there. In those days, we hardly
spoke about local politics or the Trump politics, which was under a constant fight with the US
mainstream media. Whether the MSM accusations against Trump were true or false, I didn’t care much
about it.

This time, the US has a new president. While many voted for Biden for many reasons, the main reason
was the fear of having Trump a 2 nd period. I remember a lot of people celebrating his victory, thinking
that he will bring back order, peace and stability in the US.

On the other hand, some Reddit users found a way to overcome the Wall Street short selling. In case
you don’t know, short selling is an investment that speculates on the decline in a stock or other
securities price: the investor sells its clients’ stocks knowing that the price that will continuously
decrease and will buy it back at a lower price in order to return the stocks to their owners, but having
won a profit due to the stock price decrease. What did the Reddit users do? They started buying stocks
from companies that are struggling at a fast rate, stocks that were under the short selling scenario. As a
result, their stock value increased dramatically, altering the short selling scheme as the investors must
buy back the shares, but this time at an increased price. Because of that, the investors must use their
own money to buy back the stocks, effectively losing money.

Either the Wall Street long-time investors or elites underestimated the average Joe or never thought
social media could be used against them in a way that financially hurt them badly. The average stock
buyer employed different apps or sites to buy and sell stocks like RobinHood. However, right now they
are unable to do that and they are suspecting the elites are intentionally blocking them as they are
afraid this trend will expand and will lose more money.

Why am I mentioning this? Because those wealthy companies, hedge funds, investors are requesting the
US government to regulate the stock market. So far, I remember Trump being accused of being a foreign
agent, that foreign governments interfered with the 2016 Presidential elections, etc. However, I don’t
remember watching or reading an article stating Trump is colluding with the Wall Street wealthy or
making regulations for them. If there is an article or news mentioning that, can you please share it to
me?

As the Wall Street is requesting Biden to do something, to regulate this “crisis” in order to avoid more
financial losses. The main question is, what will Biden and the US government do? Who will they
support? For you, who is reading this, how would you feel if he does the following?

 If Biden supports Wall Street and establishes new regulations that will effectively block young
stock buyers from “tampering” the stock market, if you supported or voted for him. Would that
be treason? Trump was accused of many things, but was siding with the WS elites one of them?
Will you protest? Will you riot? Because this time you are seeing how the government will side
with the wealthy and there is actually evidence that support this claim.
 If Biden supports the young people and stock buyers, that may not go unpunished. Several of
this Wall Street wealthy financially contribute several presidential campaigns. Supporting the
young may result in a several financial losses not for the economy, but for the politicians as they
lose an enormous financial asset for the future.
What will happen now? New movements may emerge as a result of Biden’s decision about which side to
support. As I was speaking to a close friend of mine some days ago, regardless of whether you consider
Trump to be a good or bad President for different reasons, 2 specific things I consider the best and worst
thing to happen during his Presidential term:

 The best thing that happened was the eventual establishment of a 3 rd party: not Democrat, not
Republican. Many Trump supporters not necessarily support the Republicans, if their leader
creates his own party, many will rally with him. The US political history is essentially a 2-party
leadership, a 3rd movement may be the best thing as people agree and disagree on different
topics from the classical groups, but may fully agree with a new group if they feel identified with
them. Right now, people from different sides: democrats, republicans, celebrities, businessmen
are protesting against this WS maneuver against the people. If the situation worsens, many
schisms will happen among Democrats and Republicans.
 The worst thing that happened was that many people, including myself, were forced to choose
sides: staying neutral didn’t work. I remember sometimes being told if I don’t support this
position, I am automatically supporting the opposite, even if I stated many times that I didn’t
know or didn’t care.

Regardless if you believe this is a David vs Goliath battle, “good” vs “evil”, “poor” vs “wealthy”,
“millennials” vs “boomers”, etc. I believe this generation main weapon is social media. Social media
managed to effectively stomp governments, presidents and even old wealthy investors as we are seeing
now.

What is the main lesson of this? the main lesson of this situation is neither about what is the best for an
economy nor whether politicians will support their voters or contributors. Whether you are rich or poor,
a noble or a peasant, there is one absolute truth in this world:

Anyone can bleed
