Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link 8.0.

1. Open DDDDL 8.03 Installation folder and run Setup.exe

2. Next
3. Accept the terms  Next

4. Install
5. Finish

6. Follow the steps for installing Detroit Diesel Diagnostic 6.5 and the rest of the files (nothing
special only press OK … Next … Finish)

7. Create on desktop a New Text Document file and Open de txt file  File  Open  in
address bar copy / paste this c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts  Enter
8. Select Open with …. Notepad  Ok

9. Add this lines:

#DiagnostikLink803
127.0.0.1 dtna-DlrInfo.prd.freightliner.com
10.File  Save AS  Save

11.Open Detroit Unlocked folder and run DDDL KG PC Unlocked-cleaned.exe as

Administrator !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12.Open Detroit Unlocked folder  Get IntID folder and run GetIntID.vpri.exe as
Administrator !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13.On Secret DiaGLinker get ID Tool press Get Internal ID and copy / paste in to Diagnostic
Link tool in Internal ID 2

14.Run Diagnostic Link 8 as Administrator

15. Copy Computer ID to New PID and select Exp Date (expiration date) DO NOT HIT "Just
do it" YET!!!!!! Exit

16. Now hit "Just do it! "

17. Copy Troubleshooting folder  2x Click on Application Data shortcut a new window
will open and here paste the troubleshooting folder (click YES / Copy and Replace to
overwrite all the the old files with the new )
18. Open Detroit Unlocked and copy Setings.xml  Open Application Data shortcut and
paste in the new window Settings.xml file  Copy and Replace

19. Open Detroit Unlocked and copy 8B2D4I4.NBC file  Open Application Data shortcut
 Downloads folder  paste the file
 20. DONE Run Diagnostic Link 8 as administrator

P.S. (if have problems with activation)

 If you have the problem with ID changing then make sure your windows is completely up
to date. Even if it says No updates available check for updates.
 Uninstall DDDL and delete folder Detroit Diesel from Program Data folder.
 Restart PC and reinstall DDDL
 Run everything in admin
 Restart PC after installing patched files and before you open DDDL for the first time after
patches has been inputted.
 Remember if you open the kg again IT WILL change your DDDL ID
