 Which is Better?

Should divorce be legal? The question that many of us still don’t know the answer. First of all,
many of us are suffering from bad relationship. Why would you stay in that life? Divorce should be legal.
It will help us put an end to most of our problems. We will obtain newfound freedom. We will be able to
start a new life. It should be legal because it is beneficial to battered wives, couple unsuccessful
marriage and the children of separated couple. It is also allowed in other country. Without having
divorce, the abusive, greedy and depressing relationship some people have will just continue or get
worse. Problems are unavoidable. You will still encounter problems after divorce but unlike before it is
easier. It will lessen your stress.

But some of the people don’t like divorce. They believe it is just a wider path for immorality
and infidelity Even the church is against it. It is adultery which is forbidden in the Ten Commandments. A
marriage can only end when one partner dies or if there are grounds for an annulment. They say it will
destroy a family. They say it will make your life harder since you’ll be separated from your partner which
supports you to your financial problems.

But there is no law that could destroy a family in fact It is the choice of the family if they want
to destroy the relationship. It will never make your life harder because it is easier to live with lesser
problems and without having a miserable relationship. Why would you insist on a relationship that is
abusive, hurtful, and hard? Divorce is accepting is accepting that some marriage work and some do not.
A divorce is benevolent and less hurtful. Divorce should be legalized. If its legalized in the other country
then why is it not in the Philippines? It is unfair. It is very beneficial. I’m still hoping that the government
finally realize that it is better having divorce. It is for the sake of the majority.
