    Installation and Updating of S-57 and S-63 ENCs

    JAN-9201/7201

    Install new Charts

    Access the "Chart Maintenance" mode, either through


    unlocking it via "Code input" or on a designated
    station.

    Permits have to be loaded before installing ENCs.


    [Import/Update Licence file] -> [ENC]

    Loading of ENC Permits


    Select the licence directory via [Browse] and use
    [Automatically] or select the licence via [Manually]

    Now the charts can be installed.


    [Import/Update charts] -> [ENC]
    Update Charts
    To update existing
    charts, simply follow the
    installation process.
    It is not required to re-
    install the permits for
    ENC Installation updates.
    Select the ENC directory via [Browse] and use
    [Automatically] or select the charts via [Manually]

    SENC Installation and Updating (C-MAP)


    To install and update system ENCs (SENCs) from C-MAP the “C-MAP Chart Manager”
    is used. Please refer to the information provided by C-MAP for your specific chart
    supply plan.
