Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint
PowerPoint has played an essential role in business pitches, education and a lot. It has
become the international preference for Presenting something. The objective of this lab
was to learn how to present your presentation. The data that goes into the information.
How to keep it simple and meaningful.

STARTING POWERPOINT.

There’re many different styles. Choose the one that suits your presentation. Click new and
you’ll find different styles.

There are slides, animations, transitions, information in the slides. We learned about
everything in the PowerPoint.

SLIDES

There are many types of slides. Slides are where we insert information and present it in a
professional way.

This is the Introductory Slide. The First slide should contain important
information like.
1. Title
2. sub-title,
3. Presented by,
4. Presented to,
5. A footer, along with the page number.

HOW TO CREATE NEW SLIDE.

Click new slide in Home tab.

After Introductory Slide
After the introductory slide create An agenda of everything that is going to be put into the
presentation. An agenda or outline is like the table of contents for a presentation.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR PRESENTATION.

Rules.
1. Keep your information small and meaningful. So, the audience has an idea of what
you’re going to speak about and you can be reminded of what will you be speaking about.

2. Keep a good heading.

3. Use bullet points to present your information because they are easier to read

4. Make sure your slides are numbered and have a footer.

Use pictures and diagrams.

Pictures and diagrams make your presentation look more professional and your
information is conveyed in a more polished and reformed form instead of abstract.

USE COMPARISON SLIDE.

Comparison slide can help interconnect two ideas and put them side to side.

This is found when you click the new slide option

i.Title slide is used for Introductory slide

ii.Title and content slide is used for presenting

v.Picture with caption is used for diagrams

Animations and Transitions.

Animations bring a whole new perspective to your presentation. The add action to the
bullets to make it look more polished and adds flare to your presentation.
Transitions are the transition from one slide to the other slide.
