General Method of Circuit Solving

1. Draw the circuit diagram and assign direction of current in each


branch (preferably higher to lower potential)
2. Labeling all quantities while trying to minimize the number of
unknown quantities.
3. Apply junction law
4. Apply loop law (while following a sign convention)
till you get enough number of equations.
