PREFACE

The magnitude of English mastery urgency has made the author

of this book formulating guidelines provided for students. It aims making

learners to comprehend and apply what they have gotten in English class

into their lives.

Consequently, the book is composed to provide enlightenment for

early age English teachers on how English should be taught and how to

understand the children’s development process. These are efforts to

optimize the teaching learning process. This book can be utilized by

teachers who will teach English for elementary school students; parents

who will start teaching English to their children; and parties who will open

non-formal education institution.

The author is aware that this handbook is still far from

perfection and has weakness in some aspects. Therefore, criticism and

suggestion are welcomed for the improvement of this work. This

worksheet, hopefully, would give significant benefit among teachers,

students, as well as people in general who read it.

My Best Friend
My best friend’s name is Stephen. He is tall and thin. He is strong.

He has got brown eyes and brown hair and his hair is quite short and

curly. Stephen is my friend because he is a good person.

My Mother

My mother is a very a nice, friendly, and fashionable woman. Her

name is Mrs. Azizah. She is a business woman. She works at one of the

big companies in my city.

My mother has an ideal appearance. Her weight is about 65

kilograms and 169 centimeters tall. She has light brown skin. She has an

oval shaped face with a pair of brown eyes that makes her even prettier.

Her hair is curly with brownish ringlet. She also has a pointed nose and

nice lips. My mother is still young, she will be 27 by the next June.

My mother is a great mother to me. Even though she is a busy

person, but she always spares some times to look after her children,

especially for my little sister. My mother isn’t good at cooking, but she

always tries to serve us delicious meal for breakfast like scrambled egg

or toasted bread. I’m so grateful for having a mother like her.

 My Smart Mother, Mrs. Sulis

I have a kind and generous mother. Her name is Mrs. Sulis. She

is a teacher. She works at one of the public vocational high schools in my

town. She teaches English there.

My mother is 32 by this March, but she still looks so young. My

mother’s body is quite ideal but a little thin. She is quite tall, about 167

centimeters in height. Her skin color is white. My mother face is oval

shaped. She has wonderful bluish eyes. Her nose is pointed as well as her

chin. My mother’s hair color is darkish brown. She looks good in her bob

haircut.

My mother is smart, that’s why I always ask for her helps in

solving my homework. Although she is an English teacher but she is also

good at mathematics and science. Besides that, my mother is also good

at cooking. All her cooking is so delicious, especially for the fried chicken.

In short, she is a great mother and I want to be as smart as her.
