Hi, I'm Camille Mazloomian.

I have currently been working at a private school for the past 3 years in Kinder and this
year I am teaching my first year in First Grade.
 
As a teacher, I aim to make learning a fun and positive experience for students to discover
their strengths and give them tools to work through their challenges. Every day I aim to
integrate 21st century skills into my lessons because I believe it is crucial for becoming a
successful adult in today's world.
 
I am a quick learner and I bring a strong knowledge of technology to the teaching
position.
Currently I'm teaching in-person students and distance learners simultaneously which
means I am Zooming with students every day, finding ways to make existing physical
resources accessible online, and I am also creating new digital materials and resources for
the whole class.
 
As a result, I am creating new digital teacher resources as well and sharing with my grade
level team, principal, and the entire preK-8 school. I am also hosting sessions for other
teachers to learn how to use Zoom, CANVAS, Seesaw, and many other programs and
teaching them ways to create and effectively use new digital resources in their classroom
this year.
 
As a lifelong learner myself, I work to continuously research and learn about new
pedagogy and explicitly share this process with my students, my goal being to encourage
them to be lifelong learners as well!
