Life Goes On

My name is Karen Kaye A. Pasamonte and I am a freshman student

at Far Eastern University. I was born and raised in Quezon City and have
two older sisters. My educational aspirations consist of completing my
bachelor’s degree in business administration that would assist me in
pursuing me to become a manager and/or business owner.

I’ve always wanted to take a business course because of my

mother’s influence. My mother owns a sari-sari store and has a rental
business that's how she paid our family’s daily expenses. Although my
father is an OFW, the salary was not enough for us but somehow my
mother pulled us through. She truly amazed me with how she supports and
take care of me and my two other sisters. Therefore, I decided that I will
attain a career as a manager and/or business owner since this is always
been my passion and my dream that was fueled by the influence of my
mother.

To the faculty, although the situation that the world is facing right now
was such a struggle to the teachers and students, I hope that everyone will
have resilience and remember that this doesn't discourage us in a way but
rather to fuel more determination to fight and keep on moving forward.
