In the darkness a woman is speeding past other
cars and swerving from lane to lane; she screams
"I just needs to cross the intersection." Red and
blue lights flash, they saved her.
She walks into her apartment and sees her takeout
arrived before she got home. As she eats the food
everything around her goes black, she is cold.
Every night the woman walks outside to her patio
looks up at the moon and says, "I love you to the
Moon and back." Her husband smiles down from
above.
As he walks into his son's room, he hears a loud
scream; he looks over at the crib, only to see his
son fast asleep. He then walks back to the door
and stops just before grabbing the handle only to
see two large green eyes staring at him in the
distance.
