MODULE 1 We need to study ICT because in the new
normal, because it’s very important that
we know how to communicate using
technology. ICT has made everyday
communication a lot easier than it was
before.
We need to study, understand and
practice proper netiquette because:
It’s respectful, it prevents
misunderstandings,
It helps people develop communication
skills
It is incredibly important to learn about
MODULE 2 skills that you probably use in the future.
If given the chance to create a new Word
Processing software, take the tools that
make MS Word Google Docs great, and
add functions that help students make
essays and thesis more effectively, while
also being available on all platforms and
functioning while offline.
MODULE 3 Beforehand, I knew that Excel was used I now know that you can perform a lot
in accounting, but I did not know its full of operations in excel, like addition,
capabilities.
MODULE 4 Before, I did not know that you could
make infographics on PowerPoint, I
thought it was purely used for making
presentations.
I knew about the close-up in
photography, but did not know about
the other angles you could use.
I do not know what a haiku is.
ICT and IT is an integral part of our
society nowadays. IT is used by big
companies and corporations, while
ICT deals with the use of
communication devices and is more
educationally inclined. There are
three types of webpages namely,
Static, Dynamic and Semantic, of
these three Dynamic is the most
popular. It is very important the
netiquette is known and followed at
all times.
I familiarized myself on how to create
a simple collaborative word
processing using Google Docs and
how to create a simple mail merge
using the tutorial made by Microsoft. I
also added some new MS shortcut
keys to my repertoire.
