Champion Program FAQ

Q: What is the Juniper Champion program?

A: The Champion Program connects network professionals with their industry peers and provides a forum for
sharing experiences. The Juniper Networks-sponsored website for Champion interaction is The Champion
Community. The site comprises a rich community of industry experts and Champions and features blogs, videos,
and a wealth of downloadable resources.

Q: What are Juniper Champion achievement levels/tiers?

The Champion Program recognizes professionals who gain expertise in product, solution and technical
knowledge in three levels (from basic to advanced): Aspiring Champion, Innovative Champion and Ingenious
Champion. Champions achieve a level by completing specific learning requirements, which comprise eLearning
courses found at the Learning Academy and technical certifications earned as part of the Juniper Networks
Certification Program. See the list of achievement requirements by level in our Program Overview (on page 2).

Q: Who can be a Champion?

A: Anyone employed with a Junper partner may become a Champion.

Q: What is the Juniper Networks Learning Academy?

A: The Learning Academy is an online learning center designed to provide channel partners with sustainable and
valuable sales and technical curriculum in a variety of on-demand formats including webcasts, videos, virtual labs
and online testing.

Q: How can I get started in the Learning Academy?

A: You must first create an account in the Partner Center. See the instructions in our Learning Academy Roadmap,
found under "Champion Achievements and Learning" on the home page of The Champion Community site.

Q: What is the Knowledge Wheel?

A: It is a path to training courses displayed on the Learning Academy. It groups training into sections of the wheel
areas including Solutions, Industry Fundamentals, Services, Sales Skills, Technical/Products, and more. We
created the Learning Academy Roadmap to take you directly to the most relevant Learning Academy courses.

Q: I’m having trouble logging into the Learning Academy portal. How can I get access?

A: You’ll need Partner Center credentials by completing this form using your work email address and the
authorization number for your company. We’ll be happy to share that number with you when you request it in a
message to us through your work email account. If you access the Partner Center using a profile based on a
personal or previous employer’s email address, we recommend establishing a new profile based on your
Champion program partner email to be sure your certifications are identified for Champion recognitions. If you
earned certifications on a profile that is not tied to your current employer and your work email address, you can
have those certs moved to your new employer-based profile by following our certification transfer instructions.
Q: I’m having trouble accessing the Partner Center or Learning Academy. Who can I call?

A: If you have a password issue with your access based on your corporate email address, please call the Juniper
helpdesk at 1-800-638-8296.

Q: Do Learning Academy credits count toward Champion program recognitions?

A: No. The credits displayed in the Learning Academy are for the Continuing Education Program open to all
partners (including you!). The Champion program offers additional benefits open only to Champion program
partners.

Q: Do I earn “credits” or “points” in the Champion program?

A: No – not for the 2012 Champion program. In 2010 we assigned points to various certifications with recognition
items sent when participants earned the required number. For 2012, recognitions are earned for achieving
milestones along a recommended training path shown in our Champion Program Overview or Champion
Achievement Tiers resources and in the Learning Academy roadmap. The “credits” you see in the Learning
Academy are for the giveaways Juniper makes available to all partners – these are separate from the Champion
program.

Q: Who do I contact if certifications I have earned are not posted in my employer-based profile or are tied to
another profile I created?

A: Follow our Certification Transfer Instructions to move your certifications to your profile based on your Champion
program partner email account.

Q: I no longer work for a Juniper Networks partner and would like to know if I can still earn certifications
towards the Juniper Champion Program.

A: The Juniper Champion program and recognitions are only for Juniper Networks business partners at this time.

Q: Do I need to do anything to make sure my credits are tracked in the Champion program?

A: If you established a Juniper Partner Center account using the authorization number for your employer and your
work email address – and if you use that same email with Prometric test centers for any JNCIx certs you earned –
your Champion-related certs should be automatically tracked. As you earn Champion recognitions, we will
automatically email notifications to you. Each notification will ask you to enter or confirm your preferred shipping
address. If you have qualified for a 2012 Champion award and have not received an award notification, please
contact us.

2012 Champion Program Offer Details: The Champion program and recognition items are exclusively for you as an invited participant during
your employment with a Champion program partner. Program offers are open only to persons over the age of 18 that are invited to participate
by Juniper Networks by direct mail, e-mail or other direct invitation. Limit one (1) recognition item in each level per eligible participant. Void
where prohibited. Participants must confirm that participation in this offer is not prohibited by employer policies. Duplicate entries prohibited.
Recognition items will be issued in the sole discretion of Juniper Networks based on determination of eligibility. Invitations, promotion codes
and recognition items are not transferable without express written consent of Juniper Networks and may not be redeemed for cash or
substituted for other goods or services. Use of automated devices or computer scripts to provide answers to the assessment exams is strictly
prohibited. Juniper Networks reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time without notice.
