Waste as per manegement as per the the HOWM Rules, 2016 in the following section (Section 12.0). 12.0 Environmental Compensation 12.1 EC for illegal extraction of ground water 1. EC has bean calculated as per the Report prepared by CPCB on “Assessment of Environmental Compensation incase egal extraction of Ground water” dated 25 June, 2019 which was submitted i compliance to hon’ble NGF order dated 07/05/2019 in O.A, No. 327/2018 i the matter ‘oF Shailesh Singh Vs Central Ground Water Board & Ors. The copy of the Repert is placed at Annexure-11, 2. The EChas been calculated forthe period beyond the expiry of CGWA NOC | that is 20.12.2018 to 16.10.2019 and also for Heal annual extraction of Cow = Water consumption per day EC rate for Mlegal extraction of ground water (ECRow) x No. of days * Dotorrant Factor 0) CED | ECaw = 330 (em¥fday) x 120 (Rs/m") x 300% (days) x 1 | Rs. 1,18,80,000 J. rank) *CGWA NOC was vais upto 20.12.2018, Hence days caleulated from the fate of NOC expiration t2 the Joint inspection date (21.12.2018 to 16,10.2019-300 days) AS per the above detailed calculation, the unit if Hable to pay Re, 4,18,80,000/- of EC for egal ground water extraction, (8) Cao RS. 100,780 fo «0 ‘As per the compliance status of CGWA NOC prepared by CGWA (placed at Anmenure-12), the unt extracted 99,691 m/annum during 01.10.2017 to oe OO ww 30.09.2018, which is higher than the permited ground water extraction of 99,000 nVannum. Hence days calculated from 01.10.2017 to 30,09,2018-365 days |. As per the above detailed calculation, the unit tablet pay Rs1,00,740/- of EC fr egal ground water extraction (€) in adaition, the unit have total 06 borewels, while CGWA have issued [NOC for extraction of ground water from 02 borewells only. Hence, legal cextraetion of ground water from Hlegat 04 borewells could not be excessed 45 the unit has not installed flow meter, Hence environmental compensation for the sam could nat he caleulste. a2 | 1. Asper te va consent to operate sued under section 25/26 of The Water (Prevention and Control of Pallitino) Act, 1974 Wie mentioned that the domestic elfuent shall be treated and reused in fushina/gardening within the premises. 2, But during inspection,» Leackage was observed tram the perifril wall of residential colony’ STP, which was going into the Kachha Pond, which is lacatas behind the unt, This Is violation of effluent discharge inadequate ETP:/ZLD noxms as per CTO. Hence the following EC has been calculated 1s per the “Report of the CPCB In-house Committee on Methodology for Assessing Enviranmantal Compensation ad Action Plan to Utilize the Fund” ‘acknowledge by Hamble NGT vide order dated 19.02.2019 inthe matter ‘of Paryavaran Suroksha Sern & Aa.
