Job description - Analyst

As an analyst you will rotate into projects related to one or more of the following roles:

Key roles:

I. Product: Translate PE/VC concepts to design new product Logic

A. Study and deeply understand venture capital & private equity funds operations.

B. Apply your learning and expert analysis skills to build spreadsheet models and
specify the business logic to the development team for building new features.

C. Design modern and easy to use screens and user experiences.

II. Customer Success: Engage Fundwave clients (PE/VC funds)

A. Understand client requirements by studying Limited Partnership Agreements,

client data, specific requests, etc.

B. Ensure that the funds are set-up and requirements are delivered on time.

C. Engage customers by releasing feature announcements, write friendly user

guides, and provide training sessions to clients.

III. Sales: Grow Fundwave license sales

A. Perform product demos, proof of concepts and assist with other parts of the sales
process.

B. Use data driven analysis to optimize the sales funnel.

C. Write content for our blogs and draft press releases, including case studies, best
practices, features releases etc. Manage campaigns on social media and email.

Keywords:

Must-know: Excel, Analytics, Written & verbal communication.

Good-to-know: Campaign management, Accounting, ​SaaS marketing, VC fund operations, VBA /

Macros, Email marketing software, User interface design.

Domain skills:
 1. Prior work experience / internships (or equivalent academic research).
2. Advanced Excel.
3. Data analytics (this is not a ‘big data’ / ‘machine learning’ role).
4. Excellent written and verbal communication.
5. Knowledge and strong interest for private markets and venture capital funds.

Personal skills:
1. Excellent interpersonal skills and change management mindset.
2. Outstanding project management skills.
3. Ability to work independently with little help. Ability to work in a team.
4. Capability to parallel work on multiple projects.
5. Natural comfort with risk management.
6. Strong quantitative analytical thinking capabilities.
7. Fluency in English. Fluency in other international languages is a plus.
