4.1 General repair instructions

To achieve the desired results when performing repairs, it is im‐
portant to work with the greatest possible care and cleanliness,
and to use proper tools which are in perfect condition. Of course,
the basic rules for safety also apply during repair work.
A number of general notes on the individual repair procedures,
which can otherwise be found in the relevant sections of the man‐
ual, are summarised here. They apply for this particular workshop
manual.
