3. Staff responsibility
3.1 Altogether workers comprising executives have a duty to perform safely and take all practical
carefulness for its health and safety as well as taking care of other people health and safety too as
impacted by their actions.
3.2 When workers are working from home or outside of office, the employee is liable for safeguarding
the environment they enter into is risk-free and work-related health and safety menaces.
4. Reporting
4.1 Every employee or other individuals who get aware of the relevant hazard or risk is liable to
quickly report it to the concerned authorities for taking timely action.
4.2 Similarly, every employee is liable to report the potential incident or triggers which can cause
damage to the people health shall immediately report such incident to the concerned authorities for

Activity 5.
Conduct induction and training program
I have given the presentation on the WHS induction and training program on 24 January 2020 at 10 am in

the meeting room at the Southern Cross school of business, Sydney. In this presentation, I have opportunity

to provide my point of view on this topic and at the end of the presentation; I got the opportunity to ask

questions to the other staff and CEO and seek feedback on this. Two staff members and CEO have asked

few questions on this and I have given appropriate answer to satisfy their needs. They have also given me

the feedback on such topic of my presentation and told me to do changes appropriately. In addition to this,

they provided me feedback on the area of WHS responsibility and directed me to do the changes as soon as

possible. It was a grateful experience to give this presentation and got an overall good feedback from CEO

and all the staff members.

Answer: we have tried our best to cover all the aspects of any worker health and safety. This revised policy

would further strengthen the existing principles and will ensure employee protection such as more

The WHS policy development is duly signed by the CEO and therefore constitutes a legal document
from the company’s management. Therefore, this should be followed and complied properly to ensure
no one is acting against the rules and guidelines. The criteria developed is based on the nature of the
workplace and emphasis on equality. Although there are some areas of improvements such as, the CEO
and other legislators need to formulate guidelines based on groups and peoples-focused.
The operational manager and other officers are responsible for implementing and make sure every
stakeholders is following the policies and procedures. Though, every stakeholder either staff member,
managers, or other officers shall be jointly liable for compliance because limiting to few people would
create workload and non-compliance.
The WHS policies and procedures must be made in accordance with the views and considerations of all
the staff members. For example, considering the views, suggestions, and opinions of all the employees.
For a performance deemed to be satisfactory, all the concerned employees of Grow Management
Consultant, managers, supervisors, and other officers should try to implement the required WHS
policies and procedures effectively and properly to make sure the health and safety of workers is
prioritized. Moreover, the performance of the responsible person shall also be benchmarked and
evaluated based on compliance with the policies and procedures developed.
Thus, the company’s executives need to perform satisfactorily and well-thoroughly to make sure the
company’s policies and guidelines are properly implemented and followed. Because, the company

Identification of Suitable Performance Indicators
The performance of all the stakeholders is highly important for the company’s successful compliance
concerning the policies and procedures of the company. In this regard, the following performance
indicators/ criteria is being developed to measure and weigh the performance of all stakeholders.
1. Reduction in workplace issues
The executives and other stakeholders of the company’s performance shall be deemed to be satisfactory
and acceptable when the workplace issues and contingencies are being reduced. Because rigid rules and
non-compliable policies creates uncertainty among members.
2. The relationship between management and employees
The implementation of any rules and policies creates problems and conflicts among staff members and
company’s executives. In this regard, a positive relationship between members and managers resembles
acceptance and compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
3. Number of complaints received
Performance concerning the WHS shall also be evaluated and assessed based on the complaints
received from members and staffs. Therefore, the lower the number of complaints the higher
performance concerning the WHS shall be acted.
4. Number of incidents incurred
The WHS policies and procedures shall be evaluated based on the number of incidents occurred. The
lower the number of incidents, the higher the performance in the WHS performance.
These performance indicators are not limited to the performance but can also be further enhanced and
improved. In this regard, these performance indicators shall be considered valuable and important.
