Patient care for up to 4 patients each shift under the supervision of an RN. Demonstrated and
expected skills include performing frequent neurological assessment, complex assessments,
starting IVs, drawing blood, inserting urinary catheters and nasogastric tubes, wound care,
participating in emergency situations, management of lines and promote patient’s safety,
documenting tasks in Connect Care, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, communicating
and supporting patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner.

complete documentation for each task performed.
 Assist patients with ADLs, including feedings, shaving, and communicating patient’s situation
with RNs in a timely manner.
 Perform wound care and assist RNs with different dressing changes.

and their visitors, either in person or over the phone.
