New cylinder kits are now used in the air/hydraulic cylinders (1). The new cylinder kits contain a
new face seal (2) that is made from a new material. The new material will increase the service life of
the air/hydraulic cylinders. The new face seal (2) is black with a green dot (3). The former face seal
was green.

The new 318-8225 Brake Cylinder Kit is a direct replacement for the former 267-3911 Brake
Cylinder Kit in the 137-0279 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The former brake cylinder kit has been
cancelled.

The new 318-8226 Brake Cylinder Kit is a direct replacement for the former 276-0812 Brake
Cylinder Kit in the 254-1143 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The former brake cylinder kit has been
cancelled.

The new 318-8227 Brake Cylinder Kit is a direct replacement for the former 8W-5889 Brake
Cylinder Kit in the 8W-3406 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The service replacement for the 8W-3406
Air/Hydraulic Cylinder is the 8X-7220 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The former brake cylinder kit has
been cancelled.

The new 318-8229 Brake Cylinder Kit is a direct replacement for the former 8W-5890 Brake
Cylinder Kit in the 8W-3405 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The former brake cylinder kit has been
cancelled.

The new 318-8230 Brake Cylinder Kit is a direct replacement for the former 2G-5854 Brake
Cylinder Kit in the 8X-7223 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder and the 9D-8890 Air/Hydraulic Cylinder. The
former brake cylinder kit has been cancelled.

All of the new cylinder kits are adaptable back to the beginning of production of the machines.
