TARGET
For our first window display, we were inspired by the board game Candy Land
to create a bright and colorful window for Target. We wanted to create something that
was fun and whimsical, that would stimulate our viewers senses. Due to the color-
ful playfulness of the candy Land theme, we decided to display swimwear, which we
thought would complement quite nicely due to the colorfulness, variety, and playful-
ness that swimwear can offer.
We used unique materials in the execution of both our props and our overall
window, in order to stimulate the senses and to add emphasis to our candy theme.
Additionally, we used bright, candy colored swimwear pieces to add further emphasis
to the candy theme. By using elements of color and texture we were able to execute an
effective window display.

ADRIANNA PAPEL
For our second window display, for Adrianna Papell, we decided to incorporate
a murder mystery theme. We were inspired by both the movie and board game of Clue.
We decided to incorporate elements of Clue into our window, specifically the murder
weapons as vinyls. Additionally, we worked with dark colored dresses for this window
to help develop a sense of sophistication as well as add to the dark, mysterious concept
of the murder mystery.
For this window we wanted to execute something that was both whimsical and
something that was worth stopping to take a second look at. We placed a small table
in the window with knocked over candles on and near it to make it seem as though an
incident had just occurred moments before. Additionally, we cut out the eyes of the
pictures behind the picture frames and placed them about an inch behind the pictures
to make it seem as though people were watching from behind the walls, adding to the
dark and mysterious theme.

PAC SUN
For our video window display, we decided to execute a 70’s roller skating theme
for PacSun. We were inspired by the bright colors of the decade and the reemergence
of similar styles today. We made use of lots of bright colors and lighting to express fun
and energetic vibes. The scene consists of a male and female that appear to be on a date
at a roller rink. They are dressed in retro PacSun clothing that resembles 70’s fashion.
