Why tarot?
The tarot is a divination system that is not tied to any specific
traditions or cultures, but becomes an extension of the different
diviners and practices that it comes into contact with. Because of
this, the tarot is a workable and flexible system that a sorcerer can
incorporate into practice. The only limitations of tarot are the ones
imposed onto it by the diviner.
Which decks?
Analytical and mathematical minds, try Thoth.
Traditionalists, try Rider-Waite Smith.
Intuitives and visual learners, try Morgan Greer.
How do I start?
Have your question in mind. This creates a point of focus and also
puts all of the cards in context for you. Invoke spirits that you work
with, in terms of your finances and small business. You could even
design a reading cloth with the Entrepreneur Glyph on it and use
that to place your spreads on.
Decide whether you wish to pull one card as a guide or whether you
wish to use a spread. Out of respect, you should not ask the same
question more than once, in a given session, expecting a different
outcome. However, you may draw an extra card for clarity or ask if
there is further action you could take to change an undesirable
outcome.
As with anything, trust and accuracy will come with time, practice,
and patience. It is better to do it incorrectly and fix it than to be too
afraid to take that first step.
