Project Title Music video
Linkin Park – Hands Held High
Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)
I found this project the most challenging due to not having access to the college resources but
despite this I rose to the challenge. Different techniques I used for this project was moving
transitions ( moving my head upwards in different locations seamlessly) marking and cutting to
video, using transition and effect efficiently to help empathise the scene and storyboard and
analyst to tell the story as well as effective primary and secondary research to develop ideas
for my music video

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

I want to do my music video of Linkin Park’s Hands held high, this song was written against George
Bush and Iraq war . My proposal is to follow the story of a Solider who just come back from Iraq suffering
from mental health like post traumatic stress disorder, finding it hard to cope with civilian life again. The
music video will be broken into four parts, The first part will be Solider me displaying signs of his agony
and psychological trauma from the war, The second character will be me Lip syncing to certain parts of
the video as a way to transition from one scene to another seamlessly, Thirdly it will show Soldier me
getting dressed slowly throughout the clips eventually leading to me going to visit the war memorial
finally ready to let go. Finally it will cut forward and back to flashbacks of his time in the war and of
scenes of George bush and Tony Blair approving the illegal war as a political statement.

Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)

For my evaluation I intend on recording ongoing test runs so I can experiment with
what works and what doesn’t and upload to my weebly and reflect why it did or didn’t
work in that particular style and explain what influenced me or inspired me to do that.
By publishing all my Primary and secondary research I can evidence for my evaluation
this will help when critically analysing my work.

Project Action Plan and Timetable
This section provides you with an opportunity to outline your planning and organisation over a period of weeks, and the activities
you will need to carry out in order to successful complete your project within the agreed time frame. It is important that you consider
how you will balance ambition, time and realism in the realisation of the project.
This should include what you are going to do, how you will do it and by when. The more time and thought you give to
planning your project, the more successful it is likely to be. Remember to include: time spent sourcing materials,
questionnaires, access to workshops, tutorial and peer group feedback, and where you will incorporate independent study
