Evie had made plans a few days ago to hang out with her friends today but her mom decided that her family was going to go out that day. Now Evie has to decide whether she's going to cancel her plans and hang out with her family or decide to still hang out with friends.

Evie is getting ready in her room as her mom walks in and says, “Evie we’re all going to the movies so make sure you're ready in an hour.” As her mom is exiting her room Evie says, “Mom, you said I could go out with my friends today.” Her mom turns around and states that she doesn’t remember allowing Evie to go out with friends. “Mom, I have texts to prove that you said I could go.” Evie is getting annoyed that her mom is going to make her cancel her plans with her friends. Her mom says to her, “We’re leaving in an hour so you better be ready by then.”

Evie’s mom leaves her room and Evie waits a little while before going to talk to her mom. “Hey mom, can we talk please.” Her mom replies,”Of course, what is it? Evie says, “I was wondering if there is any way that i could go out with my friends today instead of hanging out with the family.” Then Evies mom says, “I will let you decide if you will choose to go out with your friends or family.” “Okay mom, can I have five minutes to decide?” Evies mom replies, “Yes you can. ”Evie goes back to her room to decide what she wants to do. She figured out what she's gonna choose and she also has an idea.
Write your Falling Action:
Evie walks into her mom’s room to tell her the decision she made. “Mom, I decided that i'm going to hang out with my friends. My friend already said she was almost here and I also have an idea to make up for not going with you guys today.” Her mom replied, “Are you sure that's what you want to do.” Evie said, “Yes im sure” Evies mom wants to know what her idea is so she asks Evie to tell her.
Write your Resolution:
Evie tells her mom that her idea is that the next time that the next week she will plan a day for her and her family to go out to make up for her not going. After Evie’s done explaining, her mom says, “I think that's a great idea, and i can’t wait to see what you have planned.” Evie is excited that she is able to go with her friends and that her mom likes her idea. After her conversation with her mom, Evie’s friend pulls into the driveway. Her mom says, “Evie do you have everything you need with you?” Evie replies and says, “Yes mom I do.” Evie tells her mom bye and walks out of the door.
