The literature illustrates that many studies are undertaken for the identification of the vital
elements significant for ERP system implementation success in the post-implementation
phase are
focusing on individual case studies, industrial surveys, and covered other research issues.
Until
now, a few studies which focus on evaluating performance in the ERP system’s
implementation
phase [13]. A study presented by [14] had conducted a survey to investigate the ERP
research
stages and facets in the last few years. The research divide established literature in 3 stages:
the
first face is pre-implementation, while the second face is implementation and the last face is
post
implementation. By examining the data, the implementation has lesser attention that the
pre-
implementation and implementation phase.
Furthermore, in the post-implementation phase, the concerns in considerations with
great
attention are vital achievement/failure elements, factual advantages, Business process
reengineering, ERP preference standards, ERP significance, implementation strategy,
change
control, and form execution assessment at the organization level and user satisfaction with
minimal
concern. However, none of the studies focuses on user performance with ERP context, thus
making
this area worth exploring. Likewise, another literature survey based on the ERP lifecycle
was
presented by a study presented by [15], [16]. In the administration of the ERP structures,
the users
play an important role to evaluate the impact on these systems on their performance [5] and
the
degree of the system usage directly affects recognized the advantages of the implemented
system.
ERP users can impact the achievement or collapse of the ERP system and the main
question of the
ERP system’s value to them has been a key concern in many organizations [17], [18]. A
study
presented by [19] the authors have employed econometric analysis, to examine post-
implementation managerial execution of ERP structures and their relationship with
financial
accomplishment. The research had suggested a cause-and-effect framework to analyze
financial
accomplishment-related elements empirically for instance net sales, net income, earnings,
return
on assets and return on investment.
The results focused on the importance of efficient communication to improve trust between
employees leading to the exchange of information needed for ERP implementation
success.
Similarly, in organizational context [20], manages an empirical study to detect the ERP
adoption
success, their findings exhibited worthwhile relationships between the discernments of
ERP
achievement, and discerned organizational achievement, and enhanced business procedures.
III. Discussion &Conclusion
In follow up cases, few researchers concentrate on the ERP system achievement
assessment. Just
a few of the reported reviews considered the impact of ERP structures on the productivity
and
execution [13] In some cases, reviewing the literature on ERP implementation
regarding
performance shows that majority of prior studies evaluate the impact of ERP
structures on
performance at the organizational level rather than individual and the outcome variables
discussed
are product quality , benefits, competitive advantage, organizational service
enhancement,
financial performance, process efficiency, shareholder return , market value,
organizational
benefits. During years of work, some activities of adoption of new technologies in
organizations
are speeding up and in this regard, various firms have invested heavily in ERP systems not
only to
integrate all business activities into a uniform system but also to achieve
effectiveness and
