Incorporate new leaders and reorganize the teams

Leaders play an important role in the development of any organization and it is

proven to be critical to the success of organizational development interventions. They
establish a clear vision and share it, so others will follow willingly and provide the
knowledge, information and methods to realize the goals of the organization. No
organization can work efficiently without effective leadership. Same with leaders,
reorganizing teams would help the organization achieve its objectives. Reorganizing
teams will help the organization improve efficiency, reposition the business, and dealing
with corporate changes.
Ease of Implementation
Pros: New leaders can help bring new strategies and implement techniques that will
help the team they are managing and the organization to achieve the vision that the
management has for the whole organization.
Cons: it wouldn’t be easy to implement such change as people within the organization
might be reluctant to change.
3 was graded cause the analysts believe that new leaders will boost the organization
but at the same time it won’t be easy on implementing such change in the organization.
Acceptability to Stakeholders
Pros: Employees within the organization will experience the beneficial changes that
new leaders and team reorganization brings.
Cons: New leaders and reorganizing teams may make the people within the
organization uneasy about the stability and sustainability of the organization.
2 was graded as analysts are quite hesitant that the new leaders and team
reorganization would be accepted by the stakeholders of the organization particularly
DSS employees.
Cost of Implementation
Pros: The organization can develop cost effective ways for its implementation. Its
implementation could also help the organization to develop ways on achieving an
effective and efficient operation, thus cutting costs.
Cons: Appointing new leaders and team reorganization would be very costly. New
leaders and subordinates will have to spend some training and adapt to the new team
they would be assigned to.
2 were given because the analysts believe that it would be very costly for organization
to adopt such change. It would require new trainings and workshops for the team
members to be familiar with another and be comfortable with working with each other.
Management training would also be provided to team leaders to prepare them on
handling new teams.
Benefits to Stakeholders
Pros: New leaders and team reorganization will help DSS Consulting to create new
ways on its operations. It can bring out changes that will boost its organizational growth
and success.
Cons: The analysts believe it would be additional costs for the organization and DSS is
already experiencing stagnation of its revenue. The cost to put up new leaders and
reorganize teams might pull more the organization down making the it hard for the
business to recover if it won’t be successful.
3 was graded because although its implementation might bring undeniable success for
the organization but its cost that DSS will shoulder upon its implementation might
outweigh the benefits if it would not be successful.
