In order to avoid delays during drawings approval and inspection, the following requirements for locating the Main Low Voltage Switch Room is clarified below:- - The Main Electrical Service Room with minimum dimensional layout as specified under section-3 and appendix-7 of DEWA Regulations for Electrical Installations shall be provided in the ground floor area close to the entrance to the building from the access road. - For buildings with dedicated substations and private LV panels, the Main LV room shall be provided adjacent to the Transformer Room. + Inorder to minimize the space for the Main LV room in ground floor areas, provision of additional Electrical Service Rooms shail be permitted at other locations, subject to provision of main incomer panel with check metering in the Main LV room adjacent to the transformer room. All Consultants and Contractors are requested to make provision for the above in their projects at the drawings approval stage of project itself.
