PREFACE

These policies are intended to promote a better understanding of the


institution's practices and procedures, as well as to ensure a safe, organized,
convivial, encouraging, nondiscriminatory work environment and to make day-to-
day company administration easier. It protects employee rights and ensures
uniformity of action in the organization. Each member of management is in charge
of enforcing these policies in a fair and consistent manner.
The company has policies and strategies founded on the principle of
fairness. This means fair rules, procedures and decisions that are applied fairly in
each individual staff member’s case. Interpersonal communication is characterized
by honesty, respect, dignity, and politeness.
This aimed at promoting a healthy working climate. Leadership supported
by effective Human Resource policies and strategies as a driving force in the
institution's creation of a positive work environment.
Promotes the importance of TSKRT Clothing Co. Human Resource policies
and strategies at all levels of the organization, particularly those relating to work
relationships and the respect for diversity.
CHAPTER 1- RECRUITMENT & SELECTION POLICY
Recruiting process gives the organization a pool of eligible job applicants to choose from. It is an
important part of human resource management wherein it is a key strategic activity for the
business.
TSKRT Clothing Co. recruitment process will follow a procedure in attaining a suitable
applicant for a specific job. The contributions of each employee play a pivotal role in the
sustenance and growth of a business and its goals.

1.1 Recruitment Procedure


New Employment Requisition Forms are utilized by just about every business when they need to
open new positions. The approval shall be obtained in accordance with the procedure laid down
in this policy.
Here, the recruitment committee of TSKRT Clothing Co. decides on the number and the type of
applicants to be contacted. The evaluation, including the selection of the applicant shall be based
on the training, skills, competence, knowledge, formal qualifications, recognition of prior
learning and relevant experience within a reasonable time to do the job. HR Manager of TSKRT
Clothing Co. will be responsible to select an appropriate recruitment method(s) to identify
potential candidates.

1.2 Job Description

Under the job description are the list of tasks, duties, and responsibilities of a job. TSKRT
Clothing Co. will prepare a comprehensive job description that will help the possible applicant
know what their expectation about the vacancy and to meet the demands of the role.

A job description is required for every role prior to recruitment. The job description comprises:
(i) a description of the role: the purpose of the role, the tasks of the role, and the context within
which the role sits in the university. This is provided by the Hiring Lead.
(ii) the person specification for the role: the qualifications, knowledge, experience, and skills
required to successfully carry out the role.
(iii) any additional requirements related to eligibility or terms and conditions associated with the
role. Job descriptions are reviewed by TSKRT Clothing Co. HR to ensure the recommended
grade is commensurate with the level of skill and responsibility required for the complexity of
the tasks of the role.
1.3 Employee Selection Process
The process by which an employer evaluates information about the pool of applicants generated
during the recruitment phase. After assessing the candidates, the company decides which
applicant will be offered the position. Applicants are evaluated based on the specific job
provided for the vacant position and listed based on suitability for appointment.

1.4 Job Interview/Employee Screening

As part of the recruitment process, companies will conduct background checks, reference checks,
and possibly a criminal background check and will interviewed before obtaining a work offer or
a rejection notice as they progress through the interview process.
Interview dates should be agreed at the earliest opportunity and ideally published in the job
advertisement to ensure candidates will be available for the selection process. The HR
Recruiter screens and interviews potential employees on behalf of the organization. They
conduct pre-employment tests and reference checks as well as provide training and guidance to
hiring managers on policies, process, and regulatory issues.
Applicants will receive an "Applicant Data Log" from the HR Manager of TSKRT Clothing Co.
prior to the interview session to summarize the personal information and career history for easy
access to the interviewer. This form will be attached to a candidate resume and recorded
throughout the HR database for future reference.

1.5 Drug Test/Medical Exam


Medical tests are conducted to ensure physical fitness of the potential employee. It will decrease
chances of employee absenteeism. The medical exam is essential to check either the applicant
takes the drugs or not. If he passes the exam, he would be finally selected for the job.

1.6 Employment Contract


A legal employment contract outlines and points out in detail the terms and conditions of
employment. After joining the company and while going through residence visa processing, a
new hire will obtain an employment contract. TSKRT Clothing Co. will provide an employment
contract to codify the terms and conditions of business.
