Healthy Foods and You
● We are a health-based non-profit organization centered around healthy eating
options and habits for our communities. We believe everyone should have
access to healthy foods to help support healthy lives. Proper nutrition being
introduced to kids while they are young and learning will have positive ripple
effects throughout their lifetime .
Our Mission
● Our mission is to bring education,

awareness, and resources to healthy

accessible foods. We believe every

person should have access to a nutritious

diet and we commit to help the cause.

How Will We Help the Cause?
Our team is committed to helping provide
better resources and education about having a
healthier diet and lifestyle. In order to do this,
we will partner with the school board of San
Bernardino City Public Schools and develop
an educational program. This program will
include teaching students how to grow their
own vegetable gardens and then prepare their
vegetables into healthy and delicious meals. It
will also include teaching them about the
benefits of a plant-based diet and how they
can make this change in their own lives. It is
our hope to see these children include their
families in the process so that we can also
impact their communities.
Our Public Campaign
Our campaign will focus first on presenting our plan to the San Bernardino City,
CA Public School board. The two pronged plan consists of providing curriculum
and planting vegetable gardens at each school.

Educational materials for teachers will include healthy recipes students can share
with their families and information about benefits everyone can experience by
eating more whole, plant based foods.

○ To ensure students are exposed to a variety of vegetables first hand, the second
focus of the plan is to plant vegetable gardens alongside the children in each of the
fifty elementary schools within the next five years.

To promote the plan and inspire volunteer participation, we will run a social media
campaign on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Members of our organization will
champion communication directly with the School Board.
Healthy Foods. Healthy Lives for All!

goal of making healthy foods accessible
