The Alphabet
The alphabet in English is really important because it
helps us to enter into a new language, learn the
correct pronunciation, orthography and writing of
some new words.
Pronouncing the Alphabet
The alphabet is the set of 26 letters (from A to Z) that
we use to represent English in writing:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
As you can see, they are practically the same as in Spanish, except that there is no LL or Ñ.
To begin with, let's take a look at this table with the phonetic sounds in brackets. Don't worry if you don't
know how to read this type of characters, they will help you to get an initial idea, and later we will improve it
with the audio.

HOMEWORK
En tu casa con ayuda de tus padres, practica el vocabulario visto en clase y su
pronunciación. Intenta repasarlo de vez en cuando para que no se te olvide y,
sobre todo, felicidades por haber dado el primer paso de muchos en tu
aprendizaje de inglés. Recuerda que el tiempo que le dediques al inglés no es
solo en el horario de clase, también depende de lo que practiques en casa.
