A group of old college friends meet

up in the courtyard of an old Tudor
mansion. The ominous and foreboding
aura of the building is offset by
its name: Smiley House Bed and
Breakfast.
The friends’ greetings are cheery and
earnest. A wave of nostalgia and fond
memories washes over the group as
they share stories for hours on end. As
the day’s activities wind to a close, one-
by-one, they turn in for the night. All of
them suspecting nothing more than a
pleasant night’s sleep…
The next morning, horror! A blood-curdling scream shakes the house awake. All the
guests come running to the master staircase. A body has been discovered. The body is
unrecognisable and a trail of blood leads away from it.
It is up to you to solve the murder. Answer the following clues to find out who the victim and
murderer are, and how, where and when it happened.
