organs of the body
VENTRCICLE A thick muscular and spongy wall having numerous longitudinal clefts
CONUS ARTERIOSUS Venous blood is driven into the right atrium of the heart by contraction
TRUNCUS ARTERIOSUS Tubular structure arise from the right side of the ventricle
CAROTID ARCH Short vessels that runs forward and outward
PULMOCUTANEOUS Pulmonary to the lung
ARCH
PULMONARY ARTERY Carries deoxygenated blood from the right side of the heart to the lungs
CUTANEOUS ARTERY Deliver to the skin less oxygenated blood with higher levels of carbon
dioxide
SYSTEMIC ARCH Has the greatest distribution of blood
OCCIPITOVERTEBRAL Extends dorsally from the systemic arch to supply the muscles of the jaw
ARTERY
SUBCLAVIAN ARTERY Provides oxygen-rich blood to certain areas of the upper body
DORSAL AORTA It runs posteriorly lying mid-dorsally beneath the vertebral column
COELIACOMESENTERIC Primary source of blood from the heart
ARTERY
COELIAC ARTERY Major branch of aorta
HEPATIC ARTERY Short blood vessel that supplies oxygenated blood to the liver
MESENTERIC ARTERY Supplies blood to colon and rectum

FEMORAL ARTERY It extends from the iliac artery near the abdomen down to the legs
ANTERIOR VENA CAVA Deliver oxygen-depleted blood to the right side of the heart
PULMONARY VEIN Collects oxygenated blood from two lungs
