Interview Guide: QUESTIONS

Q1. What guidance services do you offer your students this school year?
Individual Inventory, Information, Counseling, Referral, Follow-up
Q2. With the changes brought about by the pandemic, what changes/modifications did you make
in the delivery of each of the guidance services? (Please mention the changes per guidance
Services)
Services are mostly provided via online, phone calls, and the like. As the need arise, dialogues
with parents/guardians and learners are scheduled with strict emphasis and implementation of
safety and health protocol plus social distancing to avoid the spread of COVID 19.
Q3. In relation to the delivery of services, what are the problems you encountered?
There are some parents/guardians and learners who are not yet adjusted to the new setting in this
time of pandemic.
Q4. What is your most unforgettable experience as a school counselor this year?
Resolving concerns regarding students’ cyber bullying issues.
Q5. What do you think have you done best as a school counselor?
As the newly designated SHS Career Guidance Focal Person, I revised the SHS Guidance and
Counseling Plan for the current school year and lead the implementation of programs on time.
Q6. What do you think would you have done little or less?
Actually, I think in a way that I could have done more if work as a guidance designate does not
conflict with my full time job as a teacher.
Q7. Is there anything else you would like to share that I have not asked about?
As per my own opinion, having licenced Guidance Counselors in a school as huge as we have
would be better.
