Like everyone, I also have many friends. But my best friend among them is Yağmur.

Yağmur is my best
because of three things. First(ly)/To start with, she is supportive in any condition. She is always
supporting her friends in any situation, no matter if it is difficult or easy. When her friends need
something from her, it will be enough to call her, so will do her best immediately. For example, two
years ago, I had a very bad injury and could not leave home, but Yağmur visited me everyday and
brought everything I needed. Second(ly)/Moreover/In addition, she is a very honest person. Yağmur
never lies to anyone, even white lies. She always likes talking the truth even if she knows she will have a
problem later. To illustrate/For instance, because she did not lie in the class, our teacher one day
punished her. Lastly/Finally, she is a very crazy girl. She sometimes does very interesting but unordinary
things. Although she looks silent most of the time, at some points she can behave very crazy and
aggressive. Overall/All in all/To sum up/Briefly/In the nutshell/In conclusion/To conclude, Yağmur is my
best friend because she is supportive, honest, and crazy.

Everyone has a valuable person in their life. I also have someone in my life who is very valuable to me. I
know DK for five years and she has been my best friend since then. DK is a good musician, has very nice
English and she is always supportive. First, DK plays a strange instrument and when she sings, I really like
listening to her because it gives peace. The atmosphere and feeling increases when her brother joins us.
In addition, she speaks English very well and when I have any problem with my English homework, I call
her and ask help from her. This also improves my English because we always speak English with each
other. Last year, I was about to fail in English class, but the last day she practiced with me before the
exam so I could hardly pass my exam the next day. Last but not the least, when I need any kind of help,
she always backs me up. I think this is because of her personality and how she has been raised by her
parents. All in all, DK is my best friend because she sings and plays musical instruments, speaks good
English and supports me under any condition.

There are many players in Turkey and worldwide, but my favorite is Ahmet Ersoy Kaya. He is a famous
Turkish football player. He has a very different and interesting life story. He was born in Yozgat in 2001.
He completed his elementary school in the same city. When he graduated from the elementary school in
2008, his parents decided to move to Ankara because of their job and Ahmet’s education. In Ankara, he
went to Ayten Tekışık Secondary School and his football career started during these years. He played for
junior team in Gençlerbirliği. After he finished his high school education, he already was playing
professional football in the same team. In 2020, he started to play for Ankaragücü when he scored 35
goals in the previous season. Now, he is playing professional football and also, he is studying Economy at
Yıldırım Beyazıt University. To conclude, Ahmet is a successful player in football and at the same time a
good student. He is my football idol.

Everyone has a special possession which they value and like very much. I have a special possession too.
It is a necklace. There are two reasons why it is special to me/It is special because of its sentimental
value and I believe it brings me luck. My necklace is silver and has a stone at the end. My grandmother
gave it to me as a birthday gift two years ago, so it has sentimental value for me . I always wear it
wherever I go. I do not even leave it at nights because it reminds me of my grandmother who is living far
from us. Moreover, when I wear this necklace, I feel lucky and that it brings me luck. For example, I was
in a very important exam last year, but I was not allowed to wear any metals during the exam, so I failed
even I am normally a very good student. I think it was because I did not wear my necklace. In brief, my
necklace is my luck charm and has a sentimental value because of my grandmother who gave it to me.

It was two years ago/in 2018 when I went to a historical trip organized by my school. We went to Izmir
with my friends and teachers. It was a three-day trip. First, we arrived at our hotel at a very early hour
on Saturday because we travelled at night. So, we had a short nap at the hotel until noon. Our real trip
started in the afternoon when we started to see the historical places. First, we went to Bergama. There,
we saw many historical structures. For instance, the structures of Greek gods and goddesses very
interesting. Also, because Bergama is on a higher location, we could see İzmir from there and it was
really beautiful. The second day was even more interesting. ……….. The last day, we have gone to ……… .
As a result, İzmir trip was an amazing trip for me and my friends because we have seen many nice
places, tasted very delicious food and many memories from there.

some white clouds. There are also big mountains. The mountains are blue in color because of the sky
and the sun. I guess it is summertime. When we look at the people, we can see that they have
backpacks, so I think they are trekking. They also wear comfortable clothes for summer. The first three
people are wearing helmets but the woman at the right side of the picture is not wearing any helmets.
She might have lost her helmet while climbing and she looks tired. Probably, they have been walking for
many hours. I think they might be close to their camping site because they seem to be in a hurry, and
they are walking quick. But it is not very easy to walk in such a place because there are no roads and
everywhere is covered with big rocks and a lot of bush. To conclude, it is the picture of a typical exercise
for nature lovers and I feel excited when I look at the picture because I also like walking in the nature
with my friends and feel the pure nature.
This picture is about solo rock climbing. There is a man, and he is climbing a sharp rock. At the bottom of
the picture, there are many green trees. The rock looks very sharp and difficult to do such an activity.
Although it is very difficult, he is climbing with equipment. There are many security tools nailed on the
rock. The man uses them not to fall down. The man is wearing a black t-shirt, orange trousers and
climbing shoes. He also wears a climbing belt. He uses this belt to hang to the security rope. He looks at
his 30s and when I look at his arms, I can see that he is a strong person. He has muscles at his arms, and I
think this makes easy to climb. He also looks brave because of doing this activity. All in all, I feel worried
for the man when I look at the picture. I think I will never do such an activity because I do not think I am
that brave to climb such a high rock even with security gear and equipment.
