using American terminology and is worked in continuous

2. For Sylvie’s size created using the materials


described in this pattern, cut a 5 cm wide piece of
cardboard that will be the approximate length of her
tutu. Wind the 6-inch tulle roll around this cardboard
and cut along one edge. The length of the cut tulle
should therefore be 2 x 5 = 10 cm. Then cut this tulle
into ~2.5 cm wide pieces (Picture 8).
