The Gift of the Magi

The story takes place in a December comfortable and beautiful house and luxurious home just before
Christmas and an the home is slowly growing quieter. And in the house there is a hall that stores some
old items such as paper boxes and other objects such as bells that do not sound.

Della and Mr. James Dillingham Young is a character in the story who where between the two of the
Characters, Della is a simple and diligent woman who she really likes Mr. James Dillingham Young, a
man who is well-off and rich and has a lor of wealth.

A problem occurs when

- where Della Will give jim a gift or Christmas present but the money he collected is not enough and
the items he Will buy are too expensive.

After that, Della looks for a shop or salon that wants to buy her hair , and when she finds the shop she
is looking for, Della immediately asks if that person wants to buy her hair , and that person ends up
buying Della's hair for 20 dollars and the money Will be used to give gifts for jim.

Next, Jim has a good and expensive watch but he has never seen anything more beautiful than the
watch he has , then Della who just came after cutting his hair immediately rushed to prepare food for
jim and he felt a little scared because when Jim Saw him with a strange look and Della Askes why Jim
stared at him like that.

The problem is solved when when Della explained that her hair would grow quickly and she had cut it
and gift to Jim with her new haircut, and Della said there was nothing more precious than great love
for the man she loved and then Jim hugged Della tightly and gave Della a comb where the comb was a
gift from Jim to Della.

The story ends with as you know, were wise men wonderfully wise men who brought gifts. Being wise
, their gifts were doubtless wide ones. And here I have told you the story of two children who were
not wise. Each sold the most valuable thing he owned on order to buy a gift for other. But let me
speak a last word to the wise of these days: Of all who gifts , these two were the most wise. Off all
who give and receive gifts , such as they are the most wise . Everywhere they are the wise ones. They
are the magi.
