ACT OF REPARATION TO CHRIST THE KING

(to be led by the PPC President)

Most sweet Jesus, | whose overflowing charity for men and women | is requited by so
much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt. | Behold us prostrate before You, | eager to
repair by a special act of homage, | the cruel indifference and injuries | with which your
loving heart is everywhere subjected. | Mindful, alas! | That we ourselves have had a share in
such great indignities, | which we now deplore from the deepest recesses of our hearts.| We
humbly ask your pardon | and declare readiness to atone by voluntary expiation, | not only
for our own personal offenses, | but also for the sins | of those straying far from the path of
salvation, | who refuse in their obstinate infidelity, | to follow you, their Shepherd and
Leader, | or by renouncing the promises of their baptism, | have cast off the sweet yoke of
your law.

We are now resolved, | to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed
against you; | we are now determined to make amends | for the manifold offenses against
Christian modesty, | unbecoming dress and behavior, for all the soul’s seduction laid to
ensnare the feet of the innocent, | for the frequent violation of Sundays and Holy days, | and
the shocking blasphemies uttered against You and Your Saints. | We wish also to make
amends for the insults to which your Vicar on earth, | the Pope, and your priests are
subjected, | for the profanations of conscious neglect or terrible acts of sacrilege, | of the very
sacrament of your divine love. | And lastly, | for the public crimes of nations | to the resist
the rights | and teaching authority of the Church which you have founded.

Would that, | we may be able to wash away such abominations with our own blood. |
We now offer in reparations for these violations of your divine honor, | the satisfaction you
once made to your eternal Father on the cross, | and which You continue to renew daily on
our altars; | we offer in union with the acts of atonement of your virgin Mother, | and all the
saints and of the pious faithful on earth; | and we sincerely promise to make recompense, | as
far as we can with the help of Your grace, | for all neglect of your great love | and for the sins
we and others have committed in the past. | Henceforth, | we will live a life in serving faith, |
of purity and conduct, | of perfect servants of the precepts of the Gospel | and especially that
of charity. | We promise to the best of our power | to prevent others from offending you |
and to bring as many as possible to follow you.

These we ask in your name | together with the Father and the Holy Spirit | who lives
and reigns forever. | Amen.
 CONSECRATION OF HUMANKIND TO JESUS, THE KING
(to be led by a representative family)

Most sweet Jesus, | redeemer of the human race, | look down upon us humbly
prostrate before Your altar. | We are Yours, we wish to be; | but to be more surely united with
you, | behold each one of us freely consecrates himself today | to Your most Sacred heart.

Many indeed, | have never known you. | Have mercy on them all, most merciful
Jesus| and draw them to your Sacred Heart.

Be Thou King, O Lord, | not only of the faithful who have never forsaken you, | but
also of the prodigal children who have abandoned You. | Grant that they may quickly return
to their Father’s house, | lest they die of wretchedness and hunger. | Be thou King of those
who are deceived by erroneous opinions | or whom discord keeps aloof; | call them back to
the harbor of truth and unity of faith | so that there may soon be but one flock and one
shepherd.

Be thou King of all those who are still in the darkness of idolatry | and refuse not to
draw them all into the light of the kingdom God.

Turn Thine eyes of mercy | towards the children of that race;| once Your chosen people
of old, they called down upon themselves the blood of the Savior; | may it now descend upon
them | a laver of redemption and of life.

Grant, O Lord, to Your Church | assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; |
give peace and order to all nations | and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one
cry; | “Praise to the divine Heart that wrought our salvation! | To it be glory and honor
forever! Amen.”
 ACT OF DEDICATION OF THE HUMAN RACE
TO JESUS CHRIST THE KING
(to be led by Hon. MARC BRYAN C. LIM, City Mayor of Dagupan)

Almighty and Most Compassionate Jesus Christ our King,

You are the well spring of all that sustain us in this land of Pangasinan
where you have gathered people

from different origins, culture and languages.

We humbly bow before your throne

as we consecrate ourselves and land to your mercy and compassion.
We consecrate our families and communities

to your most genuine love.

We ask you, Lord,

to protect and watch over the Filipino families,
so that in the strength of your grace
its members may enjoy prosperity,
possess the priceless gift of your peace,
and, as the Church alive in the home,

bear witness in this world to your glory.

In this humble act of consecration,

we ask you to pour out your Spirit upon us.
Make us a grace-filled people
who are able to recognize your guiding hand
in the events of our history, in our successes and failures.
Grant us the humility to accept
that unless you build, we labor in vain.

Remind us always that without You, we can do nothing.

Help us to carry out our mission;

embolden us to become faithful instruments
of your grace and mission.
Bless always all the faithful of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
Protect and guide our Shepherd, Archbishop Socrates, and his assistant, Bishop
Fidelis

In the same way, steer and strengthen our priests.

We pray for all the victims of the recent typhoons.

You are the king of creation, of the sea, the wind, the mountains:
hear the plea of your people suffering from natural disasters that are sometimes caused by us
Your creatures.
Send us, Your people,
guided by the gospel values of generosity
and selfless service after the example of Christ

to reach out to our brothers and sisters, especially to the most in need, the poor.

Further, Lord, for all of us,

that we may have the resolve to rise above our complacency,
indifference and apathy to the palpable evil
that is taking place in our country such as corruption and extrajudicial killings.
We pray for strength that we may fearlessly stand on the side of truth

and be moved to action to stop violence in any form.

Heal our divisions and unite us as one people

setting aside our selfish interests
and thinking only of what we can do best for others
especially the poor, our indigenous brothers and sisters, the marginalized and those in need.
So that we, as one community,
may be able to build your kingdom
here in the City of Dagupan,
where justice, prosperity, cooperation and charity reign

as we grow together in age, wisdom and grace.

We ask this in your mighty and glorious Name, now and for ever.

 BENEDICTION

Toward the end of adoration the priest goes to the altar, genuflects, and kneels. Then a hymn or
other Eucharistic song is sung. Meanwhile the minister, while kneeling, incenses the sacrament. The
following hymn may be sung:

Tantum ergo Sacramentum Genitori, Genitoque

Veneremur cernui; Laus et iubilatio;
Et antiquum documentum Salus, honor, virtus quoque
Novo cedat ritui; Sit et benedictio:
Praestet fides supplementum Procedenti ab utroque
Sensuum defectui. Compar sit laudatio.

Afterwards the minister rises and sings or says:

Deus, qui nobis sub sacramento mirabili, passionis tuae memoriam reliquisti; tribue, quaesumus, ita nos
corporis et sanguinis tui sacra mysteria venerari, ut redemptionis tuae fructum in nobis iugiter
sentiamus. Qui vivis et regnas in saecula saeculorum. R. Amen.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the Eucharist as the memorial of your suffering
and death. May our worship of this sacrament of your body and blood help us to
experience the salvation you won for us and the peace of the kingdom where you
live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
R. Amen.

After the prayer the priest or deacon puts on the humeral veil, genuflects, and takes the
monstrance. He makes the sign of the cross over the people with the monstrance in silence. Afterwards
the divine praises may be said.

Blessed be God.
Blessed be His Holy Name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.
Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be His Most Precious Blood.
Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit the Paraclete.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary Most Holy.
Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception.
Blessed be her glorious Assumption.
Blessed be the name of Mary, Virgin and Mother.
Blessed be St. Joseph, her most chaste spouse.

Blessed be God in His Angels and in His Saints.

After that the priest or deacon who gave the blessing, or another priest or deacon, replaces the Blessed
Sacrament in the tabernacle while an appropriate hymn is sung.
