An essay about JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

-Phantom blood-

`JoJo`s Bizzare Adventure: Phantom Blood` starts with showing us a

carriage wich has gotten in an accident and has fallen off a cliff. Right
after that another passing carriage stopped to help out, or that`s what
we think, in actuality they stopped to try and steal their goods after
seeing that they were british aristocrats. Dario Brando, that was the
man that was trying to steal the goods but they didn`t expect that the
man in the carriage was still alive. George Joestar, the man that was
alive saw him and thought that he was trying to help, he told him to
help his wife and baby, but the wife was already dead. The baby was
still alive and Dario took him out of the carriage and then helped
George. The scene ends with George thanking Dario for his help and
told him that he would do any one thing for him and a paning shot of a
stone mask.

This one

Fast-forward 15 years later and we`re shown the Joestar family,

George Joestar and Jonathan Joestar, living in a mansion in 1800s
England, with a dog Danny might I add. After that we`re shown Dario
Brando, an alcoholic and abusive dad and his son Diego Brando, wich has
three dots on his left ear, wich is said to be the sign of the devil. Dario
Brando dies later and Diego is sent to the Joestar`s mansion,
remember that one favor George promised?

Diego arrives at the mansion and makes a fabulous entrance, jumping

out of the carriage and landing on one knee, making his presence known.
Jonathan goes to greet him but Diego is being cold towards him
because of his trust issues that he got from his father. The dog, Danny
comes running towards Diego, because that`s what dogs do after all,
but he kicks the dog away, seriouslt kicks him, not a light push but a
full on soccer like kick. Jonathan rushes to Danny and fortunately he`s
alright but he won`t forgive Diego just like that and he goes to his
father to complain about Diego but he tells him that it was a promise
he did to Dario, the one who saved him. Lower is a pic of Diego kicking
Danny:

After his dad tells everyone to treat Diego like Jonathan (a.k.a.
JoJo) they go on with their day.

The next day JoJo goes to where him and his friends usually play,
and by that I mean fight in an improvised ring, Diego, now DIO for
some reason, turns up as his opponent and easily defeats him. After
that, JoJo gets replaced by DIO, wich was DIO`s plan all along, to
steal his friends and family. JoJo finds a last ray of hope, a girl named
Erina, who seems to like him for who he is. But his happiness doesn`t
go for long because DIO gets wind of this and goes after Erina, but
she resists his charms so he forces her to kiss him, then says `Your
first kiss wasn`t with JoJo, it was with me, DIO!` after wich Erina
proceeds to wash her mouth with water from a nearby pool on the road,
indirectly saying that it`s better than kissing DIO. DIO proceeds to
slap her, not as hard as he kicked Danny but still, pretty hard. After
that Erina starts avoiding JoJo because she thinks she doesn`t
deserve him after DIO forcefully kissed her.

After hearing about it from his old friends, JoJo rushes home to
DIO to fight him. From here on is a battle of resolve, JoJo`s resolve
to win against DIO so as to not stand in his shadow anymore and DIO`s
resolve to carry out his plan of totaly usurping JoJo from his own
home. JoJo manages to come out on top because, as DIO later said, he
gets stronger the more you beat him. After JoJo wins, his father
comes to stop them because JoJo was hitting DIO while he was down,
altough he said that boys should fight, because it`s normal he said.

Now, what comes next might seem like a bad joke but it`s not.

As revenge, DIO put Danny to sleep using some sedatives in his food
and put him in a box. After putting Danny in the box he threw him in
the furnace along the other trash of the mansion. The gardener
noticed the box but didn`t think much of it until he started hearing
banging sounds from the inside of the furnace, but it was already too
late, Danny burned to death.

He was burried quickly so JoJo wouldn`t see his deformed body and
the explanation the police gave was that some robbers probably wanted
to get rid of Danny, but JoJo knew, he knew that DIO did it but he
also knew that if he wanted to properly get rid of him for good he
would have to mature.

And so this is the first episode of `JoJo`s Bizzare Adventure:

Phantom Blood`, but I skiped a few parts because it would have been
too long.
