Photography MIDTERM

1. This assignment counts as a midterm grade, 50% of your third quarter grade.
Late assignments will be penalized 10 points each day it is late.

2. ​You will take ​6 ​photos of a subject of your choice using at least two of the
techniques we have worked on in class for each photo. Those techniques are as
follows: Rule of thirds, light movement (when we blurred the photos in a circle
outside), exposure triangle ( shutterspeed, ISO, aperture) shadows like creating
silhouettes, posing, creating letters or shapes, headshots using the 75-200mm
lens, portraits with a solid background, and color focus (when we picked only one
color to photograph). For each photo tell me what techniques you used and how.
Create a title for all 5 photos, be creative! ​Submit these photos with their title,
and list of techniques in a google doc and share it with me.
4. You should be submitting ​20 photos total​! 7 edited, 7 original, and the 6 from
part two with 6 different titles. If you have any questions let me know sooner than
later. Reminder: this is NOT a group project, everyone must submit their own,
DIFFERENT, photos. Again do NOT procrastinate this folks, you will not be able
to access lightroom all at once. Have fun :)
