ZZZTeacher Tips:
1.  Empathy is best taught by example. Show empathy each
and every day in your own words and actions and your
students will learn from you.
2.  These empathy cards are a great warm-up or morning
work activity. Project one card each day and have your
students write their thoughts and reactions in their
empathy journal.
3.  Setting up the empathy journal is easy! You’ll need 3 front
to back copies. Then fold in half and staple! You can even
have your students set them up to save you time.

4.  Encourage your students to practice empathy every day.

Like our friend Albert Einstein said, the ability to show
empathy “is cultivated over a lifetime.”
