Reflexive Property
Examples:
Reflexive is obvious and
effective! ● a=a

● 69=69
Meaning:
A value always equals itself!
● 420=420

● 345,632=345,632
Symmetric
Property
Make your values electric with Examples:
Symmetric! ● If x=3 then 3=x
Meaning:
If a=b then b=a! ● If a=90 then 90=a

● If g=45 then 45=g

● If o=32 then 32=o


Transitive Property
Get quick, positive results with Example:
● If d=3 and 3=x then
Transitive! d=x
Meaning: ● If a=90 and 90=h then
If a=b and b=c then a=c! a=h
● If g=f and f=45 then
g=45
● If 56=k and k=e then
56=e
Inverse Property
Don’t be composite just be opposite Examples:
● 2+ (-2) = 0
Meaning: ● 7 * 1/7 = 1
Using the opposite to ● -14 + 14 = 0
“cancel” a value ● 3 * 1/3 = 0
Property of Zero
From Hero to Zero Examples:
● 3*0=0
Meaning: ● 1,658 * 0 = 0
Multiplying by Zero ● 13 * 0 = 0
always equals Zero ● 1.2876 * 0 = 0
Distributive
Property
Don’t think minute(my-NOOT), Examples:
distribute
● a(b+c) = ab + ac
Meaning: ● 13(a+b) = 13a + 13b
Multiply a to an ● -4(y+z) = -4y + -4z
