3. Document Formatting
Use the following documentation format for an seminar project work,. Grammar, punctuation,
spelling and other related issues are sole responsibility of the students.
Language
Font
● Text must be in embedded, 12-point size. Whereas the topic should be 16-point size and
sub topics should be 14- point size.
● Black text is recommended; although, color may be appropriate in some limited parts of
the document.
● Font type of times new romans should be consistently used throughout the document.
● Font requirements should be applied to all text included in your documentation.
Spacing
● Document line spacing should be 1.5 with the exceptions of captions, lists, graphs, charts,
items with tables and lists in appendices.
● Paragraph Spacing Should be 6pt [Both before and after]
● The alignment of each paragraph should be justified
Tables and Figures
Page Numbering
1. Cover page, abstract, and acknowledgements must not be included in the Table of
Contents.
2. Page numbering starts (page number i) on the first page of Table of Contents using lower
case Roman numerals.
3. Page Number 1 Should start from the introduction page [The main content]
4. Use proper section breaks so that each section can be formatted separately
