Dear Carol,

In the name of who has heart more beauty than a sun, let me congratulate you in this special day. This day
is the time when a soul come from heaven and born in the land of thousand history. Her parents named
this person with 陈映筱. My knowledge about Chinese is limited, but this name reminds me about a place
that teach us about the beauty of silences. It does not mean loneliness, but a condition of peace and
serenity in our mind. The reason why I related your name with this, because it reminds me to a scene in
the movies of crouching tiger hidden dragon. There is a scene that conducted in one of a forest in China
which surrounding with many bamboos. This place gives us the sense of peacefulness. The wind that
blowing the bamboo making the leaves and the trunk creating sound that make our heart forget about the
illusion and return to the reality. This scene teaches us about to find inner peace in this complicated and
competitive word. Seeing the beauty of the place remind me about returning to our real home. A place or
condition where no duality of life, where no judgment of right or wrong, a condition where we can be
ourselves without thinking of the other. My grandma named this condition with the blissful of real
freedom. I can sense this from your eyes. The eyes that has the beauty of a free soul. A soul who is
craving for an adventurous life, a soul who is craving happiness without a judgement from others. A soul
who want to fly as high as the eagle and enjoy every wind that hit her feather.

Carol, let me share a story about my experience of doing pilgrimed recently. I visit one of the most
important temple in Bali. This temple is in the top of mountain. The journey was unforgettable, as the
road is very difficult to reach and we need to hike 5 hours to reach this temple. During the way to the
temple, I saw a beautiful bird, with very colorful feather and It has very melodious sound. This bird make
my tiredness disappear, and change it become the sense of serenity. But unfortunately, I didn’t take any
picture of it. It made me very sad, as I want to have at least something to commemorate my memory of
this bird. At home I told my grandma about my sadness and she told me a very beautiful word. She said to
me this bird hasn’t fly away, it live in my memory forever. It doesn’t matter the bird is already fly away,
but actually it reminds in the deep of your memory. This bird always stay with you, in your mind and
soul. She said to me doesn’t matter does the bird will remember you or not, belong to your or not, in the
eye of lover, it is not the problem as long the bird can feel free and find its own happiness. This story
remind me about all the memory about you, In my eyes, no matter how late you reply my message, what
you think of me, but would you give me permission to be someone who always praise and adore you with
my simplicity and sincerity. The north star may die, but the love in my eyes always for you. Like the bible
said in the chapter of Luke, the door of my hearth never closed to you. In the eye of a lover the term you
and me is just illusion, we are by nature is the unlimited sky. The term of you and me is just a cloud that
cover the beauty of the blue sky. I hope in the next term of your life adventure, you can fly as high as you
can to reach whatever you purpose in your life.

As an ordinary person who adore you, let me offer a simple poet for you.

In the eye of lover, you and I is only an illusion.

We can see the beauty of the sky only if we remove the cloud.

We are unlimited being, fly as high as you can.
