Statement of problem
An investigation into the negative and positive influence of sports on academic achievements on
the boys at Oberlin High School.

The aim of the assessment is to highlight the negatives and the positives of the influence sports
have on students at Oberlin High School.

Objectives:

1. To find out the positive influence sports have on students academy

2. To understand the negative influence sports have on students academy
3. To uncover the reasons of poor academic grades due to the influence of sports in the
school.
 Introduction
This portfolio is solely on the impacts of sports and how it affects the males of Oberlin High

School. A topic so rarely spoken on we decided to choose this topic in order to highlight the

Negative in which the issues might have cost. There has been a great decrease in the academic

Performance of the male and therefore we reveal this in our assessment.

Education is a must for all students, male and female, the main reason we have chosen this topic

To highlight this problem that seems to threaten a sturdy education for the male at the Oberlin

High School. In researching this we hope that all students may have a solid chance for a good

Education.
