Resource Optimization

 Initially DRI was being given to SMS –


EAF through one HDRI Bin.

 When SMS not taking HDRI, HBI was


produced and later given to SMS

 One additional bin was installed and


taken in line in April 2017.

 Due to the availability of second Bin,


the HBI production quantity (during
the SMS Breakdown and Shutdown)
has been significantly reduced

 Significant reduction in Specific


consumption of power in Both DRI
and SMS Plants.
