Beach View Hotel, Barbados

I’ve stayed in thousands of hotels in my life, but there was

something about the Beach View that I’ve never seen
before. That was the feeling that all the staff appeared to
arrive at work every day desperate for all their guests to
have a perfect holiday! Every morning when I went for a
walk along the beach the receptionists and cleaners
would give me enormous smiles and the most genuine
“Good morning!” I’ve ever heard from anyone.
The hotel is on the west coast of the island, and is only a
five-minute walk from one of Barbados’s most famous
beaches so it couldn’t be better situated. Although I was
staying there on my own I was given a double room at no
extra cost, and had free access to the hotel’s health club,
although as the hotel also has a beautiful outdoor
swimming pool I admit that I didn’t make full use of this.
All the rooms are en-suite and, of course, have air
conditioning – in the middle of summer it would be
impossible to sleep without it. A buffet breakfast was also
included, but dinner in the evening wasn’t. However, the
food at the Beach View is so delicious that I didn’t mind
paying. It would be much cheaper for visitors to eat in the
town, of course, but sometimes it makes sense to pay a bit
more for better quality.
All in all, the Beach View is definitely somewhere I would
recommend to tourists of all ages and expectations.
