As an educator with an elementary education degree in grades Pk-4, it is with great

enthusiasm that I submit my resume in consideration for a position as an elementary teacher in

your school. I am very excited to continue my teaching career. I believe I could be a great asset

to a team of elementary level educators.

I have had many experiences teaching elementary-level students in a variety of settings

including Pre-K Counts. During one of my most recent positions, I had the privilege of teaching

kindergarten in a title one school. The school's population contained a large percentage of

English language learners which gave me many opportunities to grow my skill set. I have also

taught a variety of subjects, learning abilities, and grade levels in a remote Alaskan village. I had

the opportunity to teach in South Africa during my undergraduate program. During my time in

South Africa, I developed and implemented a reading intervention program for struggling readers

in grade 5. I think my varied experiences would make me an asset to your program.

I have a passion for learning and it is my goal to share that passion with my students. I
