1. What school activities do you conduct that allow the participation of the people in the
barangay?

During the general cleaning of the school, not only the parents help in cleaning but also
the barangay officials. They join hand in hand in cleaning the school.

2. Are there community activities that you, as a teacher join? Please name. Do your
learners join also these activities?

Yes, there is. One of these activities is the recent town fiesta in which we sponsored one
night of variety show together with the students of the school.

3. What learning do your pupils/students gain from the participation?

Due to our participation, the students learned on how to socialize people and they were
able to overcome anxiety through the participation of the school in this event.

4. What does the community benefit from joining in your school activities?

The harmonious relationship between the school and community is the benefit that both
parties earned from the activities conducted by the school.

5. As per your observation, are the lessons that you taught in the school transferred to the
homes or the community?

Value formation and moral values are concrete evidences that students apply these
lessons from school to their home and even in the community. These could be the best learning’s
that students were able to apply good moral values.

I realized that teacher is one of the most trustworthy people in the community. The
community respects the teacher. Teacher is a noble profession and not all people can become a
professional teacher, only few are capable to become a teacher. I also realized that when you
become a teacher, you give your all to it and never allow any negative things to happen
especially to your students. You should be a role model that they can admire and idolized
through their learning until they become successful and a good citizen. And, if you really a
teacher even if you’re not wearing your uniform, people will notice you as a teacher.

2. Narrative/Essay about the resources of the community

         The resources of the community are really helpful and it makes a living comfortable. Those
resources are the communities most needed to improve and develop people’s lives.  They have
committee volunteers, networking, barangay council for protection of children, fathers’ and
mothers’ club, associations. Also the community has a educational program for fortunate like;
early childhood, child minding center, alternative learning system, educational assistance. 

The community also has a Medical/Dental Care, Family Therapy, Feeding Project,
Reproductive Health and Nutrition awareness for the health and nutrition care of the citizens in
Paliparan III, Dasmarinas Cavite. They also care about the youth so they provide a Peer
Counseling, Values Formation, Recollection and Retreats, Sports and Recreation, Skills for Life,
Participation in Active Non-Violence, Youth Gangs, and Entrepreneurship.

3. Report on the Community View of Teachers         

The communities view about teachers are;

Teachers are very responsible because they do their job with all their hearts,

Once they knew that you are a teacher they will respect you even though you are not
wearing your uniform like, they will approach you and say hi.  Sometimes, people will notice
that you’re a teacher even though you didn’t tell them because they feel it already, the way the
teacher talks and acts are already respectful.

Teachers are trustworthy individuals.

I remember someone says that teachers are really trustworthy because they take care of
the children’s on the community whenever they are in the schools or outside the schools. Parents
have an assurance about their children because they knew that teachers will take good care of
them especially teach them to become a better citizen in the future.

Teachers are intelligent.

Whenever they heard or knew that you are a teacher, the first thing that comes into their
minds is that teachers are all intelligent, like whatever questions they give you, you can answer.
Something like, teachers know all things.
