Public transport

Responding to your invitation, I would like to report about some issues of the town
public transport system, as well as to suggest some improvements to make it more
reliable and convenient for the citizens.
First of all, I would like to say that the system is huge and complex ranging from
city buses which go only in the city, provincial buses which go to towns and villages
from the district of Buzău and trains which go everywhere in the country or in
another countries. However, there is no precise schedule of arrivals. Therefore,
passengers have to wait for vehicles in the stops for an unpredictable period of time
having only gap intervals as props of their expectations. What is more, this
inconvenience is aggravated by traffic jams, especially in the rush hour.
I deem that the following measures might influence the situation so as to revamp it.
Firstly, the town council should simplify the transportation scheme by annulling
some excessive routes while increasing the number of vehicles on the others.
Secondly, the tickets should be converted from the on-trip form into time-based one.
Both changes would work in tandem providing free of charge connection between
different means of transportation and requiring half as much time for travelling as
it is now. Besides, I suppose that organising separated road lines for the emergency
vehicles and arranging multiple roads when the rush hour starts could be
noteworthy ideas to prevent cars from blocking emergency vehicles and coaches.
I am looking forward to your positive decision about implementing my proposals. I
am confident that these alterations would be judicious and overdue and are likely to
shift the system to a new level of quality and comfort.
