5. System Alarm LED continues to glow.  
6. Second Alarm Horn/ Strobe activated. (outside)  
7. Illuminated sign “Evacuate Now, Gas Discharge”
 
has been activated.
8. acknowledge operated and buzzer silenced.  

A. Actuation of Manual Release.

1. Identify the release station to be activated. Release
 
station activated.
MANUAL 2. System Alarm LED glowing.  
OPERATION 3. Second Alarm Horn/ Strobe activated send alarm
signal to fire alarm system, motorized fire smoke  
damper to closed.
4. Illuminated sign “Don’t Enter System Discharged”
 
has been activated.
5. Air-conditioning shutdown.  
A. Activate the abort switch during the pre-
discharge time delay period and check for the
ABORT following results:
OPERATION 1. Illumination of “ABORT” indication on the
 
AEROSOL Control Panel.
2. Release of gas is held if abort switch is pressed.  

B. Once released, wait for 30 seconds and

check for the following results:
1. Illumination of “RELEASE” indication on the
AEROSOL Control Panel; and activation of strobe  
light located outside the protected hazard.
2. Illuminated sign “Don’t Enter Gas Discharged” has
 
been activated.
3. Activation of alarm bell and strobe horn with
 
steady pulse

approved drawings
