What are different Strategies of Reading Skills?
Reading Skills:
The Reading Skills Plays a very important Role in our Written Communication. Following are
some Strategies of Reading Skill that we have discuss in our Class through Zoom. These are:

Purposeful Meaning:
Reading is purposeful in any Field. How you learn something will depend on your
purpose. You read different texts in different ways. In everyday life, you often know why you
read, question, and learn to find the answer. You usually know your way around your favorite
newspaper, so if you want to know the effects of sports, go straight to the right page, or if you
want to know what's on tonight, go straight to the television page. Don't start on the first
page. When you read a novel, it's different.

Scanning:
Scanning is like to learns quickly to search for specific information in any kind of books
newspaper or something else. You may not see it, but you already know how to scan. Scan, for
example, when looking a number in a phone book. Scanning can allow you to read many
words per minute so you can quickly gather some data. It plays a very Important Role in
Reading Skills.

Skimming:
Skimming learns quickly to get a general idea of anything which you read. Skimming
can allow you to read many words per minute. Skimming helps you determine whether or not
you can keep learning, what you should learn carefully and where to start. Skipping the text
quickly before reading it carefully can help you reflect on what you already know and can help
you improve your reading goal. The first skim can also help to increase your interest in the text
and your understanding and content reflection. Skimming does not read every World like
Scanning. It can only skim Headings, Titles, Diagrams and First Sentence of paragraph.

Phrase Reading:
Look into the eyes of a friend or family member while reading anything. You will
see that they go through each print line in the order of jerks. The break between jerseys
is known as adjustment. It is about correction when your eyes take them in words. Poor
students in reading only take one or two words for each.
Analytical Reading:
Analytical reading is required when you want to make sure that you are fully
absorbing and appreciating what you read. You may have to read the statements more
than once, pause to think about them, or write down key words when using this style.
As a result, your reading rate drops easily to less than 100 words per minute. Therefore,
you must analyze you reading.

Marking the Text:

When you copy the text you are reading, you can underline the words,
highlight the mark, or write notes on the mark, or else, if you are not a text, you can use
less 'send-it' labels. This text-marking process can help you focus and can also help you
identify key points and make the book easier to review later when you have to use it
again in your assignment or review a test.

Note Taking:
When you don't take notes well, or don't take them personally, now is the time to
develop this important skill! Taking a note can help you gain deeper insight and thinking,
better memory skills and better things to prepare for the exam in the future. When
making a note, keep the following principles in mind:

Record Publication Details

Preview the Text before you write it
Maintain an Idea of your Written Form
Summaries Your Ideas
